The theme this year is Roots.

Known Issues

In the submission build, the sound of the singing tubers (root vegetables, get it?) persists after they are destroyed.

A number of sounds were designed but not yet implemented.

There are no levels for the Beetroot or Carrot just yet.

You can shoot an infinite number of potatoes. I would like to limit the player to one shot at a time, or to destroy an existing potato if another is launched.

Tips

You can fit your potato around the side of the red obstacle, it is just a tight fit.

Future plans

I want to...

Implement the missing sound
Invest time in the level design
Have the game return you to the level you were playing, rather than the title screen, if you change your mind at the quit screen
Introduce more obstacles beyond static ones and hazards that destroy your tuber

Tools

Made in Unity with Wwise audio middleware.

Reaper used to make the sound effects. Some sounds use Boom and Soundly libraries as source material.

Logic Pro X used to make the music.
